We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our client’s team in Toowoomba. About the Role: Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for providing expert financial guidance, ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards. This role will involve working closely with various stakeholders across the business, offering professional challenges and opportunities for growth within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide advice, guidance, and support on all accounting matters with key areas of focus including financial recording and reporting; cash flow management; management reporting; and systems and procedures
- Ensure the timely and accurate production of financial reports and accounts.
- Maintain accurate financial records to facilitate timely reporting.
- Monitor all costs and payments from accounts.
- Reconcile all balance sheet accounts in line with organisational requirements.
- Assist with financial and non-financial reporting.
- Provide leadership to the accounting team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

About You: To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CA qualification (or working towards completion).
- Strong financial reporting, analysis, and reconciliation skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Experience with accounting systems and financial software.
