The HB Group is currently working with a team of local business consultants and dedicated, detail-orientated accountants to source a talented Client Focused Accountant and Team Manager to join their growing practice. This is a full-time opportunity, but part-time and hybrid options are available for the right candidate.
What You’ll Do
Client Advisory & Relationship Management
- Build strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
- Provide strategic financial insights, including business performance reviews, cash flow analysis, and tax planning.
- Deliver tailored financial advice to clients across diverse industries.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations while identifying tax-saving opportunities.
Team Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and support remote accounting team members, ensuring efficiency and accountability.
- Assign tasks, review work quality, and provide constructive feedback.
- Foster a high-performance team culture and maintain engagement through regular virtual meetings.
- Drive innovation through process automation and technology integration
Skills, Attributes & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in public practice accounting.
- Strong client advisory skills with a proven track record in business consulting and financial strategy.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills for managing remote teams.
- Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent qualification).
- CPA, CA, or IPA qualification (or currently working towards completion).
- Strong understanding of business structures, tax planning, and compliance.
