Seeking experienced Dairy and Grocery Supervisor for busy grocery store in Crows Nest! Flexibly hours on offer.
Our client, a family-owned grocery store in Crows Nest, is seeking dedicated individuals to fill two important supervisory roles: Grocery Supervisor and Dairy/Freezer Supervisor. Join a friendly team and help create an exceptional shopping experience for customers!
Roles and Responsibilities: Grocery Supervisor:
- Lead, coach, and develop the grocery team.
- Ensure the department runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
- Provide outstanding customer service and enhance the shopping experience.
- Maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
Dairy/Freezer Supervisor:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Dairy and Freezer Department.
- Lead and manage staff to meet customer needs and expectations.
- Ensure compliance with Food Safety Standards and maintain quality.
- Foster a positive team environment and promote collaboration.
Key Attributes for Both Roles:
- Previous experience in retail grocery or related fields.
- Hands-on leadership style, leading by example.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create a positive team culture and strong customer relationships.
- Advanced skills in presentation, merchandising, and stock management.
- Forklift licence preferred (for Grocery Supervisor).
- Extensive knowledge of food handling and safety standards.
- Current food safety supervisor certificate preferred (for Dairy/Freezer Supervisor)
- Must be flexible to work weekend shifts and public holidays Supervisor.
